They love to play cards. Their bedtime is 9 p.m. They love music about love, exploring little towns, and hanging out in coffee shops. These are my kinda people.
Chad and Eileen were such a pleasure to work with. Not only do we have a lot in common (as mentioned above), but I love a couple who is as committed to a photoshoot as I am! This straight outta Pinterest picnic set-up? That was allllll Eileen. All I did was suggest Stoney Creek Metropark for summertime, floral vibes, and Eileen took care of the rest!
When I showed up to the park and Eileen said, “Sorry, I hope this isn’t too much… I had today off.” I knew we were in for one magical shoot. Not only is this picnic absolutely gorgeous, it is also filled with detailed touches that are unique to Chad and Eileen’s love story. Featured in the picnic is their favorite wine, a meaningful poem, and a watch that Eileen had custom-designed for Chad. Talk about romantic!
These two sweet hearts are such a perfect match. They have known each other since elementary school and have the sweetest proposal story. Not to mention, they are probably the best huggers in the entire metro-Detroit area. No, really. When I first met them, they both said “Hi! We’re huggers!”. And then proceeded to give me the type of hugs you give your sibling after you haven’t seen them in two years. I immediately wanted to be their best friend. I cannot wait for them to get married next spring because they need to be married already!
Chad and Eileen, may you continue to have a love story filled with lots more picnics and lots more hugs.
