Stephanie and Elias are the type of people who make you feel like you’ve known them forever (even though I’ve known them for less than a year). Stephanie reached out to me to photograph their engagement session and we instantly hit it off. I love when I am able to photograph a client for both their engagement and wedding. It allows me to get to know them on a deeper level. At their engagement session, I got an idea of who Stephanie and Elias were as individuals and as a couple. However, it during their gorgeous Greek Orthodox wedding, surrounded by their nearest and dearest friends, was when I really got to know them.
Two people at the wedding described Elias and Stephanie perfectly. Stephanie’s dad nicknamed Elias “Hercules” and I can see why. Elias loves Stephanie fiercely and is so protective of her in the best way. Then during one of the reception speeches, someone described Stephanie as “one of the most-kindhearted and genuine people they knew”, I couldn’t agree more.
Throughout the day, Stephanie kept saying, “It’s a good thing vendors can’t review the bride and groom and post their review on The Knot!” If I could leave a review for this wonderful couple, here’s what I would say…
“Stephanie and Elias, you two are incredible. Your wedding was an absolute joy to witness (and photograph). You were the warmest, kindest bride and groom to your guests and vendors. The love you have for each other touches everyone who sees you and spread throughout your entire day. Not only are you just downright incredible people, but you were so trusting of your vendors in a way that allowed us to create the most beautiful photos and video footage. I am so, so thankful that I got to photograph your wedding and would do it again in an instant if I could!”
Stephanie and Elias, I cannot say congratulations enough. I cannot wait to see how you continue to light up each other’s’ lives.
